USB AUX Adapter

The USB AUX adapters are for connection to the CD changer input and are recognised by the radio as CD changers.

Installation of the device is quick and easy: after connecting the device to the CD changer input, it is often simply placed in the glove compartment. This ensures trouble-free and convenient use in the car.

The USB AUX adapters for the car radio also have an SD input. When playing music via USB or SD, a defined formatting must be observed. This differs from manufacturer to manufacturer, but is explained in detail in the German instructions supplied. USB sticks and SD or SDHC cards are supported up to a size of 32 gigabytes. Music files can be transferred to the storage media in MP3 and WMA formats.

When transferring music via USB or SD, the tracks can be controlled with the radio and steering wheel buttons and the CD buttons can be used to switch between folders. Operation is very comfortable and simple. Fast forward and rewind within the tracks is also possible. The maximum number of folders depends on the radio, but in most cases 6 folders are supported. The titles are displayed up to 99, then the numbering starts again at 1. The playback of the music in the car is automatically stopped when another source is selected on the radio or when an original handsfree is used. This is advantageous if you want to continue using your regular hands-free system regardless of the adapter. When you stop playback or switch off the car, the position is stored in the track and continues to play there when you play back again.

The music is transmitted directly via the 3.5mm AUX-IN connection, but no control is possible. For playback, nothing must be plugged into the USB or SD.
